Power 90 Masters Series Schedule
The Power 90 Masters Series is a great follow-up to Power 90. It is often the step people take who have finished Power 90 but don’t feel they are ready for P90X yet. It’s certainly the step Mike and I took. The Masters Series is also a great workout in and of itself. It has all of the great components that you found in P90 with even more higher intensity cardio and plyo workouts thrown in. Having these workouts broken up into separate DVDs is also a great time-saver and allows for easy mixing and matching for those who feel saavy enough to create their own workout programs.
One thing the P90 Masters Series doesn’t have, however, is a calendar or fitness program, the kind that comes with the other Beachbody programs. Most Beachbody programs totally take the guesswork out of your workout routine for each day. They spell it out for you, telling you exactly what you need to do each day, each week, and even which days on which you need to rest.
Beachbody quickly realized that while some people could come up with their own plan, others needed and liked to have it all planned out for them. (I’m one of the people in the latter category!) So they provided a plan and posted it on the Beachbody Message Board. For your convenience, I am posting it here.
Beachbody actually developed two plans - one they call the Standard Master Series Program, which focuses more on strength-training, and the other called the Lean Master Series Program, which has more cardio than Scuplting. Both of the programs are set up so that there are 3 weeks of cardio and sculpting interspersed with one week of pure cardio as a recovery week.

Thanks for this! I’m currently in the middle of Power 90, but P90X just seems as too big a step to take immediately after P90… Now I finally know what I’m gonna do after day 90
