Jan and I ran in a 5K race this morning, and did pretty darn good, considering that we don’t consider ourselves as “runners” - we made it in 27:52.

In fact, Jan would have won the bronze medal for women in her age group, but the race organizers mistakenly gave it to someone who was almost two minutes behind us! So that wasn’t so good, but it was great to see how well my babe did!

As for me, the two of us ran together, but the men In my age group are pretty hard core: the medal winners came in a full four minutes or more ahead of us! There’s no way I’m ready for a 24 minute pace, but we’ll get better over time!

Samuel, our twelve year-old son, also ran, but we smoked him this year (he left us in the dust last year).

But it was a great morning and further proof of what Beachbody has done for us!
